Game Description

Fish’ N Chicks is a colorful Shoot ‘Em Up where the player must keep a raft afloat against waves of ferocious fish. Taking inspiration from the old shooter arcade game Deep Scan released by Sega in 1979, the player must avoid all sort of projectiles launched by the fish below the surface and counter-attack with chickens in order to destroy the enemies. Special Attacks to clean up your screen are on the menu and Mermaids will help you along the way to recover your health.

History

Umeki Studio started in May 2021 as a producing and publishing studio of download games for mobile phones.

The studio was funded by two brothers, Romain and Vianney Boniface, who started learning about video game development during their spare time in 2017. Four years later, they released their first game called FISH’ N CHICKS along with the creation of Umeki Studio.

A Kickstarter campaign was launched simultaneously to support the development of game updates and the growth of the Studio. This campaign will remain active until the end of June 2021.

In a near future, Umeki Studio aims to hire more talents to ultimately specialize in Action/Adventure games like Monster Boy, inspired by old classics like Landstalker or Crusader of Centy on Sega Genesis (aka Soleil in Europe).

The company is strongly committed to support the environment by sharing a part of its profit to environmental initiatives, such as Ocean preservation or offering digital only rewards during its Kickstarter Campaign to avoid generating any wastes.

Umeki Studio is privately owned and 100% independent.
